Terms of use

Last updated 25 October 2026

These terms are the licence agreement between you and DreamLine Audio (“we”, “us”) for the DreamLine plug-in and this website. By installing or using DreamLine you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t install it.

Who sells it

Moonbase is the seller of record. It takes your payment, collects VAT and issues your receipt. Moonbase’s own terms and privacy policy apply at checkout. These terms cover how you may use the software once you have it.

Your licence

  • When you buy DreamLine you get a personal, non-exclusive licence to use it. It isn’t sold to you; you are licensed to use it.
  • One licence covers one person using DreamLine on up to 3 computers that you own or use for your own work.
  • You can use it to make music and sound, including music you sell or release. We take no cut of what you make.
  • The free trial has all features on and lasts 7 days. It is for one person to try the plug-in before buying.
  • Without a valid licence or trial, DreamLine is locked and passes audio through unchanged.

What you can’t do

  • Resell, rent, lend, share or give away DreamLine or your licence, or share your licence key or activation with other people.
  • Copy or redistribute the plug-in, including putting it on file-sharing sites.
  • Take it apart, copy its code, or get round the licence checks, except where the law says you may.
  • Use it to break the law or anyone else’s rights.

If you break these rules we may cancel your licence.

No guarantees

DreamLine is provided “as is”. We test it carefully in Ableton Live on Windows, but we can’t promise it will work with every computer, host or set-up, or that it will be free of faults. Please save your work often and keep backups. DreamLine changes how audio sounds, so watch your levels and monitoring volume.

Our responsibility

To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for lost work, lost profits or other indirect losses that come from using DreamLine, and our total responsibility to you is limited to the price you paid for it. Nothing here limits anything that can’t legally be limited, including your statutory consumer rights, liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or liability for fraud.

Ownership

We own DreamLine, its name and its look. Your licence gives you the right to use it, nothing more. Sounds you make with it belong to you.

Trademarks

VST is a registered trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH. Ableton and Live are trademarks of Ableton AG. All other names belong to their owners.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can deal with disputes. If you live elsewhere, you keep any rights the law of your own country gives you.
